10.       Cabin – if you have one

9.         Go camping, fishing or hiking

8.         North Shore (drive from Duluth to Grand Marais)

7.         Minnehaha Falls – waterfall, walking, have a picnic 

6.         Drive down the Mississippi River to Lake Peppin

5.         Devil’s Gulch - Garritson (S.D.) – Jesse and Frank James jumped across Devil’s Glutch on horseback after robbing the Northfield (MN) bank)

4.         Fort Snelling – re-enactment

3.         Pipestone National Monument.  My Mom is from Pipestone! Where the Peace pipe originated.  Quarried by Native Americans out of Pipestone – layer of soft red stone between layers of limestone.  Native Americans came from hundreds of miles to smoke the peace pipe and make peace.  Also go there for Civil War Days – re-enactment

2.         Mt. Rushmore  (Have been there several times.  Usually stays in Pipestone then travels out there).  Custer State Park. Crazy Horse (one of dad’s favorites; mom doesn’t really like it)

1.         Visit a relative’s grave – to pray for and remember them
