WFNU’s Decade on the Dial Celebration!

On August 1st, WFNU celebrates 10 years of broadcasting on 94.1 FM, and we’re celebrating the people AND community who made it all possible!

Ten years ago, WFNU Frogtown Community Radio went live on the 94.1 FM dial with a handful of volunteers, a simple setup and a big dream to amplify the voices of Saint Paul. A decade later, that dream has grown into a volunteer powered radio station broadcasting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year with more than 85 volunteers and 60 local shows sharing music, stories, culture, and conversations from our community.

Join us for a FREE, all ages open house celebration honoring the hosts, musicians, storytellers, neighbors, listeners, and volunteers who have kept WFNU on the air for the last 10 years.

Enjoy live music from talented musician and WFNU host Walter Chancellor Jr., DJs, food, raffle prizes, behind the scenes studio tours, and a chance to meet the people behind the microphones.

Whether you’ve hosted a show, tuned in from home, supported the station, or are discovering WFNU for the first time, you’re part of our story.

Come celebrate a decade of local voices, community connection, and radio made by the people, for the people!
